Council Jr./Sr. High School and Council Elementary School - The first day of school for 7th-12th grade students was Wednesday, August 20, 2014. The first day of school for K-6 grade students was Monday, August 25, 2014. If you are new to the area and would like to register your child, please call the jr./sr. high school office at 253-4217 or the elementary school office at 253-4223.

We will be conducting a free preschool screening for all children ages 3 to 5 to provide you with information on your child’s development. The screening will look at your child’s physical skills, concepts, and language skills as well as social and self help skills. A free preschool program is provided for children who qualify for help in any of these areas.

Webinar on Idaho Core and SBAC Mathematics for parents, community members– As part of the Idaho Math Initiative, Boise State University’s Initiative for Developing Mathematical Thinking team put together a recorded webinar for parents and community members to help explain the state’s transition to Idaho Core Standards and the new Smarter Balanced Assessment, specific to mathematics. It’s about 12 minutes long and readily available online for viewing.
