A student recently wrote a note to me, thanking me for believing in them. I treasure notes like those from students and hold them dear to my heart, for they inspire me to constantly improve my technique and strive to be the very best educator I can be. Far above any degree or accolades, they are the truest and most valuable reward a teacher can receive.

This is my ninth year teaching students. I received my bachelor’s degree in the rural farm town where I grew up. Later, I went back to college where I received my Master’s in Early Childhood Education. I was offered a teaching job in Special Education, so I went back to college again to receive a certification in this area. I have taught in Ohio, New Mexico, and Idaho. I have learned that students are as diverse as the backgrounds from which they come.

My husband, two children, and I reside in Bear. We enjoy the outdoors and all the great opportunities this area has to offer. On the weekends, you can find me in the mountains; hunting, fishing, or camping. During school hours, feel free to contact me via email: or via phone at: 208-253-4223.
