I was born and raised in Idaho and moved to Council in 2019. I have three sons and two daughters-in-law. My nine grandchildren are a huge part of my life and keep me focused on what really matters.

Prior to teaching at CES, I worked in early childhood education as a director of a facility that served children from birth through elementary school.

I graduated from Lewis-Clark State College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a Creative Writing Emphasis.

I love adventure and the chance to experience new activities. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy golfing, hiking, and kayaking.

Teaching is more than a career. It's a privilege. The chance to make a difference along the course of a student's life is the element that drew me toward this field.

I am very happy to be part of the Lumberjack team.
