Biology at CHS is the final science course prior to taking dual credit science courses. This course explores biology fundamentals in the following areas: scientific method, chemistry of life, cell structure and function, microscopy, biochemical pathways in photosynthesis and respiration, genetics, taxonomy and ecology. This is a required class for all sophomores. A or B is recommended prior to Advanced Biology, Chemistry or Anatomy and Physiology.
